As the Director for Global Business Development, Dr. Shiv is responsible for expanding the clinically studied branded ingredients for Botanic Healthcare and promoting them around the globe. He has obtained Masters of Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dr. H. S. Gour University, Saugar, India. Dr Shiv, a recipient of “Young Scientist” award in recognition of outstanding contribution in the field of Pharma / biotechnology and herbal drug research at international level by John Hopkins University, USA and Colombo University, Sri Lanka. He has published more than 40 research papers in reputed international and national journals and given presentations at many international conferences. He is a recipient of best product innovation award from FKCCI (The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce Industry, 2017); for the product development on turmeric blend, which is under United States Patent. He has travelled and attended many international exhibitions related to Nutraceutical, Botanical and Natural Products business in over 22 countries, which has helped in gain firsthand knowledge of the sector.
